3iQ Digital Asset Management has launched Bitcoin and Ether Feeder ETFs in Australia. Listed on Cboe Australia on June 6, these funds will invest in Canadian-domiciled 3iQ CoinShares Bitcoin ETF and 3iQ CoinShares Ether ETF.
Exposure to BTC, ETH Investments
These ETF products are aimed at providing Australian investors with an opportunity to leverage potential long-term capital appreciation through exposure to Bitcoin and Ethereum, 3iQ said in the press release.
“The Bitcoin ETF and the Ether ETF aim to provide investors with exposure to bitcoin and ether, respectively, and the daily price movements of the U.S. dollar price of the underlying crypto asset and the opportunity for potential long-term capital growth. Units of both ETFs are available for purchase in Australian dollars,” 3iQ said in a PR.
Management Expense Ratio of 1.20%
3iQ has promised the lowest fee structure in Australia with a total management expense ratio of only 1.20%. It will also provide a 3-month management fee waiver.
“Many Australians are eager to invest in cryptocurrency but have found it cumbersome and daunting to do… Now, thanks to BT3Q and ET3Q, we’re able to help investors navigate and understand the evolving digital asset space with investment solutions that provide exposure to cryptocurrencies in the same easy-to-use and secure ETF structures they’re accustomed to,” 3iQ Digital Asset Management Chairman and CEO Fred Pye said.
3iQ – Pioneer in Digital Asset ETFs
3iQ is Canada’s first and largest digital asset investment fund manager with over $1.8 billion AUM. Bitcoin and Ether-based ETFs were launched in Canada in April and December 2020, respectively. Both these products have been pioneers in the effort to launch digital asset-based exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in different countries.
Investors must invest in products from fund managers with a long and impressive track record in the asset class. 3iQ offers an outstanding record in digital asset funds management, Vic Jokovic, CEO of Cboe Australia, said.
“We’re proud to partner with 3iQ to bring their world-class Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs to Australian investors,” he added.
